I was wondering that too? Out here in San Diego we have desert races that are kinda close to your H.S. back east, Except they have a set mileage, 100-300 miles those races last 3-10 hrs!!:eek2:

Hare scramble is a race ,kinda like enduro. Except you barely go on any roads, if any. Its all in the woods. Ypou could desribe it as a "motocross race in the woods" lol I m gonna be racing some hare scrambles this year on my Yz!:D

oh, and you can use any bike you want!

Yeah I race d6 scrambles, You really have to have your arms and body in physical shape cause these races really beet down on you, You also wanna drink alot of water before the race, And make sure you have some kinda of tear off or the roll off gogles. O yeah make sure you have good arse tires Because thats what can make or break your day.

Also harescrambles have moving trees so watch out for them.

I'm an avid hunter and walk thru lots of woods and never seen trees jump in front of someone as much as they do in XC racing...:o

I haven't rode a quad in 6 weeks and plan on running the 2.5 hours this weekend at the GNCC...:eek2: I think i'm retarded.:(
