for the last 2 years i've been riding my friends old 300ex beater, up untill 2 months ago when i bought my 400, so if some oncecan let me know about the regular steps they take monthly, daily, ect. to maintain they're 400'd i'de appreciate it alot.......
and one more question...is there anything special you should check on after rolling it.

Always keep good oil in it, make sure the air filter is clean,. Just do little check ups on it like making sure everything is tight and secure. Little stuff like that will really help out and that 400 should last you a LONG time

Good luck with it

Taking out the pivot bolt for the swing arm and lubing it is a good idea every few months. If not, it is SOB to take out!

another thing to do is change your oil and oil filter every 3 hard rides. also just go around and tighten each bolt(a nut and bolt check). after im done with each bolt i use a dry erase market and dot the nut to show that i did that one already
