(blew up due to sand at a race). but its all together and starts first kick every time :) its was blown up a couple weeks ago at a race due to sand getting in the engine. it was a brand new motor to. now its back up and ready to start whippin some @$$

Works shocks up front, tusk t-7 bars, Renthal grips, dg nerfs, FMF fatty pipe and powercoreII silencer, (custom) milled/rechambered head, 1mm base spacer(custom), decked cylinder (custom), port and polish (custom), aktive reeds, uni filter, maier tether kill switch, metallic blue frame and hubs, vito's parking break blockoff, shockpro's shock covers, (custom) air scoops, lots of custom painted/polished stuff, wiseco pro-lite piston, custom steering stem, pivot works bearings in whole rear end, DID x-ring race chain, parking brake block off cable, PB airbox, carbon fiber looking seat cover, Kenda Klaw MX tires all around on douglas .190 rims, and probably a lot of stuff im forgetting.

i have fast trekker (18's) and some knobby's up front for backup tires. and we are in the process of building up our backup engine. i should be getting a 400ex shock for the rear, and we are going to bore out my carb.

with all the new parts id say 3-5 grand invested... its hard to say though.

Nice lil blaster there Flyin ;) looking @ your motor mods we have about the same things done to ours like to see them tearin it up next to each other on a track :blah: Anyway it looks GOOD!! I'll have to show my son DJ he'll be likin' it!! Curious about the rear 400 shock conversion?? I REALLY like the airbox, we don't run one at all but would like to get one for trail riding some day probably won't be going w/ aluminum though unless our welder build us one hmmm thats a good idea LOL I'm hoping he'll do our A arms before the winter series though. Am I thinking right that the 400 front shocks can be put on a blaster?? NICE BIKE :D

thanks. yeah, it would be fun to race someone that has the same stuff doen as me. Is you son racing mx this year? or flattrack? i should be borrowing a 400ex rear shock from a friend to see if it will work. the length looks about the same, and the mounts look like they will bolt up. someone on bhq did it and it looks great. you just cant do it with a stock airbox (mounted rezzie hits). The airibox is great, seems to keep stuff out while improving airflow a lot. Your having someone make you a-arms? that sounds cool. I think we might extend and re-enforce mine sometime. 400ex shocks wont fit a blaster.

Hey flyin, yeah my son is racing flattrack this spring/summer he had his 2nd series race last night but didn't have a very good night, he took a BAD spill in his main, but got 2nd in his heat!! In the main he was in 1st & on lap 2 of 8 a kid & him got tangled in the turn & DJ went flying about 10' in the air & landed on his back on the track :( VERY VERY scary for all of us, he was knocked out for a few seconds & when he came to he couldn't breathe & he just wanted his helmet off BAD!! The EMT's checked him out & he had his 1st trip to the ambulance but came out OK, just some road rash on his back & sore wrist & hurt ego LOL ;) So he's pretty sore today & of course the main thing he was worried about was his quad, only damage we can see so far his rear tire came off the bead steering stem tweeked a little, we'll be checking the axle today to make sure it didn't get bent, it landed hard on the rigth rear tire, he has those screw one wheel spacers & I will hve to say they didn't take any damage!! Well thanks forthe info on the rear shock LMK how it works!!

cool, flattrack always looks fun to me. that sucks he crashed. happens to the best of us though. ive been there and when i came to it was a half hour later and i had been asking the same question over and over. my steering stem bent really bad so we made a new one with the stock ends. i have those same wheels spacers and they hold up really good, im really impressed. ill definetly let you know how the rear shock works out when i get it.

here are some jumping pics from today. 35ft triple... not bad for a shovel jump.
