Any Silver Lake rider's have HMF pipes?

I was wondering if any of you guys that ride at Silver Lake sand dunes (in Michigan) have a HMF slip-on pipe? I am looking into getting a HMF slip-on with a quiet core for my 400EX (stock motor & air box) , but I am worried about being too loud at the dunes. I only ride at the dunes a couple times during the summer and trail ride the rest of the time, I just don't want to get to the dunes and have them tell me my pipe is too loud and not let me ride. I haven't been there in a couple of years, so I'm not sure how strict they're being on enforcing the decible limit law. Can any one help me out here? :confused:

Youll need a spark arrestor and the quiet core. Thats what they checked for me. I was just there it was a blast.

My dad grew up there, ive been there many times, i like it out there! Have you ever been to ypsi?

So, they just did the normal check when going through the dune entrance then, huh? The last time I was there was about 2 years ago and I never saw them do any sound tests, I wasn't sure if they're getting more strict about it now. Have you ever done a sound test on your quad? How busy was it when you were there?

I've probably driven thru Ypsi before but never went there for anything. Would you happen to be related to Tom Gerweck of Maybee?

Well there were alot of loud pipes there so as long as you have the quiet core and spark arrestor dont even worry about it. The parking lot was mostly full but it wasnt to bad. I doubt they will even do a sound check on you cause they checked to see if i had my spark arrestor. BTW, thet start the voucher system during the weekends starting 5-14.
