Hot cam

I just put a hotcam stage 1 in and broke it in and re adjusted the valves. Is it just me or is this cam louder than the staock cam? has anyone else noticed that their hotcam is louder?

yes, it is louder than stock. are you sure your adjusting the valves to the correct clearances?

They say all aftermarket cams make some noise but i would go throw and check your clearance

hey, i see your from centralia. i don't know how old you are but i think i know a girl from there if i remember correctly. she goes to school at southern illinois university edwardsville (siue). i think her name was trina or something similar. she is probably around a sophmore. do you know her?

i just put my stage1 in too. you're supposed to use the stock clearances right?

not the stock clearances for sure. i have been told:

.004 intake, .006 exhaust
and i have been told:

.005 intake, .006 exhaust

i am not sure but i think it is my first option.
