Well, if you are popping, then it definitely sounds lean to me. Its not expensive... jets are like 3-5 bucks each depending on where you get them. Get a couple different sizes above the stock one and give it a try. Im sure you will feel the results are worth it. :)

yes it is worth it. you will get feel it alot more if you add a jet and filter to your pipe. you will get better respone. your engine will run a lot better and you won't foul a plug as fast and often
Thank you is it hard to rejet what do I need to do I talked to a guy at a shop by me and he said it would cost me 75$ to put on the new main jet and needle jet. I would like to do this my self and save some money I known I need a bigger main jet but do I need to put in a new needle jet.
i posted a few pics on here about changing the main jet on a 250ex it only takes about 20 minutes
Could you send me the pics and what size jets should I get.

I would have to say its worth the $2.99 for a main jet.

Don't jet unless you have too!
Do I need to take the carb off compleatly to get to the main jet.
I cannot believe that a shop/dealer told you they would charge $75 for just changing the main jet and needle jet. That is crazy! I guess they are making around $70/hr....sounds a little high for a quad shop.
