Who is selling the 13:1 JE? Sparks has the 12:1 and the 13.8:1 JE. I might be more interested in the 13:1, than the other two.

I was under the understanding that it was a 13:1 they were selling not a 13.8:1 but if it is a 13.8:1 then I guess that will just add that much more bottom end!:D

I haven't got it yet. It is supposed to be here tomorrow. It is going to cost me just over $100.00. But I work at the dealer so I get cost +10%. I'm not sure what retail is on it.

What is the stock compression? I have seen numbers in the 9's and 10's but am not sure what the official word is. Also at what point on compression is race gas necessary? Also I live in Utah at 4,700 feet in elevation and the best pump gas I can buy is 91 octane. Thanks Scott

Got it today. Looks pretty sweet! I was going to try to get it in tonight but the turbo on my truck took a dump so I was working on that for a bit. Hopefully I'll get it in tomorrow. Don't know if I'm going to be able to get to ride it this weekend now though as my truck isn't going to be going anywhere unless I can find a new turbo fast! It has two compression rings on it too. I heard the 13.8:1 only has one.

I got it from my work. I work at a bike shop. It was a bit more than I thought it was going to be at $144.00. That was cost + 10%. I'm not sure what retail is on it though.

It comes with a paper explaining the clearances and how to install the cir-clips and where the rings go and stuff like that but not how to take the engine apart to install it. You would need to get a service manual for that.

I heard that they were going to make one of the high compression pistons with 3 rings just like the stock piston. Does anyone know which piston has 3 rings? I thinks its 2 compression and one oil ring.
