would a hmf slip on give me a pretty good power increse? should i get a full system for another $220 more or just pay $209 and get a slip on?

The HMF slip on would be a good bolt on for your bike, if it is stock. I think that the White Bros E Series slip on butts out more power, though. If you plan on doing any motor work in the future, It would be wise to purchase the full system because your engine would need to breathe better with higher hp.

I would say go with the HMF over the White Brothers....The WB might give more power......but the HMF will have better quality and isn't lacking much more power:cool:

You guys are prob right about the reliability issue. I've herd of the WB breaking brackets but im almost positive that it does give more power. the power increase over the hmf wouldent be very much though.

You only need the slip on.Take your stock header and grind out the lip where it enters the head, make it as smooth as possible.Doesn't sound like much but it makes a big difference in flow and power especially if your head is ported.Note: just grind the lip so it's tapered not the entire sleeve thats welded in there because its there for strength.

the differance in power between the hmf and the E are far from noticeable the only real place that you'll see a differance would be on a dyno, stick with the hmf it's goin to be the best bang for the buck
