hay i got my trx 450 r apart an need to go riding in a few mins where is the piolt jet loacated i found the main, is it like the yfz right beside each other thanks helpppppppp

Yes they are right beside eachother once you take the bowl off...

can u get to it by taking the 17mm nut off the bottom of carb or do you have to take the hole bowl off, i loosen both carb clamps an it wouldnt turn, can u help me thanks

You have to take the hole bowl off. The pilot is the one that uses a flat head screwdriver.The only time u mess with the pilot is when you change the pipe. .

yeah we put a full procicut pipe on last night an we couldnt fine them piolt, do you have to change it, it seems to run awsome with just the main, an it starts on first kick, thanks for your help

No should not have to mess with it then if it starts and runs good. What size main did you go with?

The only time u mess with the pilot is when you change the pipe. .

I never had to mess with my pilot when i got my lrd exhaust. I got a 125 main on there and the needle clip position is the 2nd one from the bottom seems to run awesome. At least good enough to tear my banshee a new @$$ hole:devil: ! Mine also starts better then it ever has.
