is it worth the extra money over the normal style of lock nut(not the anti fade, but an aftermarket nut with the pinch bolts)????????

NOPE

All pretty and fancy but it's sole purpose is to help cool the brake rotor...

If you get the LSR anti-fade make sure its the one with dual pinch bolts. I got the single pinch bolt design and I have to keep a close eye on it, but it usually stays tight if you put a longer 1/4 20 bolt in it. Always use regular zinc plated or plain black socket head bolts, stainless with gall the threads of the anti-fade.
