I had a great time in the mud. Just didn't like the rocks with the mud. I came out realatively unscathed, but I almost fryed my new motor! If anyone wants to know I was the maniac whoopin and hollering as I went around the track.

DIRECTIONS: PA turnpike to Exit 13 to Route 522N towards Shade Gap, Take Route 641E through Neelyton, at crossroads turn right onto Decorum Road, Track is one mile on the left.

OR PA turnpike Exit 14. Take Route 75N to Spring Run, go left on 641W, three miles to cross road make a left on to Decorum Road, Track is one mile on the left.

If you take the first exit (13) you'll have to go up over the big hill. When you get to the bottom there will be a crossroad, right at the bottom and thats decorum road. Make a left and it's mabe like a half mile or so, track is on the left.

I am happy to anounce that I took 1st in open c. Marlin took 2nd and Bryan the other guy in my truck for the ride home almost took the trifecta. He took 4th! Not a bad day and the rain held off for the race. We were discussing that this was probably the nicest conditions of the season so far at any track. The course was rough, but I enjoyed myself!

no skid? what's the deal? trying to tear up a new quad?

The best part of the race had to be for 2 laps Jay telling Marlin I was right behind him and then telling me marlin was about 20 secs ahead. Jay was definitely having a motivating factor on Marlin. He just didn't have the endurance to hold me off forever!

No Skid??????? who told u that?????

Its a long story, it'll be squared away soon!!!!

I could be a real jackars and say I had everyone whooped and was way out frt when I broke, but i'd just be a jack *** then. I am extremely aggrevated at the situation. Its a perfect example of not having enough time to do things the right way!! I was putting off repairing the broken off bolts for weeks, when I finally got the time, I had trouble getting the swing arm off and the kids were nagging, so I bailed and ran it the way it was. None of that anymore. I think I'm gonna thin out the herd, put all the eggs in one basket and raise a lil $ for an RV for the family.Go back to focussing on spending $ and time on 1 bike rather then 3!!!

 which will I keep????? any guess's?

Wait till round 5 Ron I think you might have some more compition, hey you wanna lend me that dale of yours for series 5:devil: Ive been to jackfrost a few times around the xc course but arenot firmilar with the way they set it up for the d6 races I tend to be pretty darn quick threw them trails. Hopefully we get a few battles between me you, marlin, and bryan because we seem to be almost always close to eachother during the race unless something goes wrong like a chain snapping well good luck to all people who are racing gncc and all other races in the d6 area. I might be sending my shock out to santo derisi this week to get him to work his magic because I had my rear shock looked at and its completely blown, the front works seem to be nice and ill be selling my pluss 2's and ill be getting pluss 1's a-arms and an axle when I get the cash.

Any good pics posted anywhere? I saw the pics at www.mcracingaction.com and I'm surprised that there aren't more/better ones... With all the people we had in the woods, on the hills and along the road with the jumps I thought there would be more good pics floating around...

05-03-2004, 07:20 PM
hey j, last year i ran all the gncc s and this year most of the dist. races and i never ran a skid plate. last year i bent 1 rotor. i guess i got lucky. i hate skid s. every time i buy one it always falls off. igot tired of buying them, now i just have a homemade job on my linkage. i ll never run one again. i ll take my chances

Yeah I have to agree with you about the pics. Normally he gets some good ones, but there weren't any real good ones in the pile. Normally he only gets one of me, but this time I found like 3. Maybe that was the problem!:D
