My 400ex is running lean due to me adding a e-series exhaust. Can I just adjust the the screw on the bottom of the carb or do I need to change the pilot jet. I see a lot of guys running 42 pilot. I am a trail rider, also I need help tuning my exhaust any suggestions?

what is your elevation?
what is the temperature?
what other mods do you have?
you run an air box lid?

runnin all stock 400ex
airbox lid on (cuz of no outerwear on my kn)
under 3000 for the most part. normally close to sea level
bout 70-100 be the hottest.

I'm in Maryland, elevation is 500-1000ft. Temp is around 70-80 degrees. exhaust is the only mod right now, soon as I got home from college I am ordering the timing key. I am not running an air box lid. I have a uni filter will a precharger on it.

152-155 main. 40-42 pilot. Play with it, all bikes are different.

Good luck.
