Stroker Crank?

Hey,

I am looking into stroking my 416 to a 440, I am guessing that would be a 4mm stroker? Who would you reccomend me to buy the stroker crank from? How much do they range in price? And do I need to machine the cases?

I just talked to my engine builder the other day and he told me you don't have to machine the cases with a stroker smaller than a 465. Mike Kinkaid at FDO told me a stroker crank is $350 and recomended that I buy a Carilo billet rod to go with it for $190. When you compare these prices to other builders, post back to let me know if I might get a better deal(even though I doubt youll find it any cheaper). If your interested call Mike at 740-967-1078.

i'm not sure how much any of his stuff cost's though.
