it says it is less than a cannibal and a 400ex! i hope suzuki didn't try to reduce the weight of the frame like Yamaha did with the raptor. i think they fixed it for 2002(raptor), but how can a liquid cooled quad with reverse weigh less than an air cooled quad without reverse. i would rather have the extra 5 lbs. and be safe.

yeah it is very light but the claimed dry weight is just that "claimed". it isn't nessisarliy true. i do expect suzuki to put out a powerful, reliable machine tho.

well, if its anywhere around that weight then it is gonna be a hard hitter, because power to weight ratio is the name of the game with quads.

The only way to tell is to weigh the thing yourself. One area of weight savings is that it isn't running a heavy cast iron sleeve. Suzuki uses that cylinder coating that's been in the DRZ dirt bikes for several years.

It prolly gponna wiegh 390lb with all the fluids, just like a Crap-Dale,they wieght prolly 390lb too with all the fluids.

I think Smokin CrackFish is just scared that there's gonna be a quad that can beat his Almighty Crap-Dale. ohhh noo, wait for the new Honda, then CrackFish will really be shacking in the knees!!!!!!!

Could everyone just STOP with the "CRACKS" on one particular member? - no pun intended.......

Its getting old, yay so think what you want about them, keep it to your self.

;)

oh and the cast iron sleeve prolly weighs like 2-5 pounds at the most.

Every little bit helps. A pound here a pound there then BAM you have a suprising light quad.

i think that zuke is way kool, light, nice lookin, and the power on the engine(from the dirtbike basicly,) is supposed to hav a real nice powerband.
