300ex motor conversions

Hey does any one know about 300ex conersions besides the 350x.

I'm looking for a XR650 conversion or CRF450r...

I don't mean to be negative about your plans or anything, but if you are going to use a big engine like a CRF450 or a XR650, I'd recommend a better chassis than the 300EX. They're not the best in the handling department, and not the strongest frame either.

The 350X swap is popular because it's easy. If you are going to make it complicated, you may as well use a different chassis and make it good at the same time...

yea its not smart to put that big of an engine in such a small frame....

at the 2002 Nationals in Casey illinois, someone had, i believe it was a, yfz426? dirtbike engine in his 300ex, he was a lapper....
