im thinking about buying an arens frame to eventually do a crf conversion.... :eek2: but.. i dont have enough money to buy the frame and motor at the same time... but i dont want to pass up the deal i have on a frame right now... so i was wondering is a 400ex motor will also go into the frame... ive heard that it would so i wrote arens an e mail and they guy wrote back ... with some pretty general information... he said that it would probably work if i WELDED some tabes on for some more things... well of coarse the motor will fit if i weld things on.... i mine as well do a conversion at that point...... anyway if anyone has any info for me that would be great:rolleyes:

ya it should work it is a 400ex based frame,

so i dont think you wont even have to make welds, if you do the crf450 conversion i think you will have to make welds and stuff.

If its an arens frame for a crf motor the 400ex motor isnt gonna fit without welding some..It is prolly a 400ex based frame but has crf motor mounts and ready for the crf motor !! Not sure tho !!

Basicaly arens once claimed that his CRF/EX frame housed both moters WITHOUT any modification just diff motor mounts but then he writes a reply that says "I DONT KNOW" what a dousche, so does anyone have a streight answer?
