Man this seems like crap to me.

I called Fay Myers in Denver, Largest Honda guys around.

Told the guy, listen Im not driving there to talk to you, im a busy guy!

If I come down there with Cash in hand what is the OTD price for a 450R with and with out he HRC kit.
This is what I was quoted

with the HRC"power up" kit, it is $7,755+tax
with out HRC Kit $7,306+tax

WTF is up witha that, Told him he was like $1000 off what I hear you guys talking about, and more in some instances.

My wife is comming around think I can get this thing in June, but I cant pay that much.

Trout - I got mine for $6058 OTD in SW MO. Don't pay over retail - too many dealerships out there selling at the 6 grand mark.

FWIW, they are also selling YFZs for $6g OTD

That's only for kids under 16. When I bought my son's trx90 I had to lie and say he was 13 he was 7 at the time.

get this BS.....me & my dad go in today this morning to pay for the 450r & we see are bill is a little high so we ask the gu ywhats up & then he tells us that the owner wouldnt let him sell it to us for $6.5k OTD but that he had to sell them for $7k OTD b/c hes selling alot of them & they are the hottest four wheeler now being sold....Im back on the hunt now I guess...I found another place like 4 hours away that had them for $5,899 + $600 cash + $124 in a financing fee (im putting $3kdown payment on it from my 400ex I just sold) but thats still kina pricey for me...am I being reasonable or is $6.5k OTD too much to ask right now? anyone know of any dealers getting rid of them within a 4 hour drive from nashville? be it kentucky or missisippi or something but I have to have one soon

It may be a little far but I got mine for 5950 OTD from sunrise honda in searcy....its like 20 min north of Little Rock...so probably like 6 or 7 hrs for you.

no problem...good luck finding one...I can't remember but I think there was one near Memphis that was selling them for around 6000 but I don't remember the name.

abernathys in union hill or city close to you has them for $5,899+ (approx. $600 taxes) +$124 financing charge which makes it more than $6,500 + a 4 hour drive for me

Just talked to Excel Motorsports here in Denver and the sales manager told me that if I came in with Cash, he would get me OTD in the back of my pickup for $6499 or less. That sounds fair to me.

he also tried to get me to come in and get it all set up and leave a deposit. That would be fine with me, but dont you think that by June the price may come down a little, or the demand will come down a little and thus they would be more likely to sell for less?

anyways im just glad I found a dealer in the city near me to deal a little.

6500 isnt bad. I doubt it will go down much from there OTD. Mine was 6800 OTD, but we dont have a sales tax in Oregon and mine was in the first shipment.

If anyone is asking over 7000 OTD go somewhere else. Around here its hard to get bikes for under retail. Only if they have been sitting in the store for a couple years will they finally drop the price a bit.

PM 450r_rider, he got one fairly close to where you live with the hrc kit and it was still under 6500 otd. thats all i know.

alked to another dealer about 45 minutes away...they told me they would sell it to me for $6,504.86 cash (which I have since im getting a loan from my saving account bank at 3.9% apr) so we'll see if they are going to bull**** & waste my fuel & time again like the other dealer. I am going to tell the sales guy tomorrow before I come down there that I have a certified check for $6.5k & will have the extra $4.86 in a $5 bill but thats all im going to have so they better not waste my time or ill hurt them all & go postal
