Stage 2 Cam & Timing Key

I would like to know how well does a stage 2 cam perform in a stock bore motor. I have an exhaust. I was thinking about getting a stage 2 cam and a sparks timing key. Does anyone know how well these perform together.

you will definately lose some power at lower rpms. higher rpms should be fine though
