Gas leak

Ok i got a 99 400ex adn when im riding around for a while i stop just to take a break i leave my gas on. I noticed it POURS (sp) out of that long black hose coming out of the carb, once i start moving its fine. COuld it be my gas cap is not letting any pressure out? IDK just a guess.

The floats in your float bowl are stuck open. It happens fairly often with bikes especially after they have sat for a while. Try tapping the side of your carb float bowl with a screw driver, that should fix it. If not remove the float bowl and make sure there are no obstructions around the floats.;)

Well if my float was stuck wouldnt it leak all the time even when im riding?

nah, cause ur atv is using the gas its dumping into the carb..

My friends blaster did this real bad, only when he stoped, but once he did it would just run out the bottom..

cleaned his carb out and dosen't do it ne more

So i guess ill clean the carb. Ill prob be back with another problem about the carb, cause im used to the old blaster carb.
