anyone with hmf q-core?

is the quiet core worth the 32 bucks? does it make a noise difference, even slightly?..did you have to rejet after installing it?

Didn't you get one with the pipe?
It barely restricts it, but does seem to do a good job on the high pitch noise when shifting up through the gears. I rode mine for most of last year and now have it installed again, I think it is easier on the ears and you buddies behind you for sure.;)

do you guys have the full systems or just the slip ons? i just put on the new balance full system and im wonderin what jet to put in it. my buddy runs a 170 on a stock carb with an E series full system. im fully stock sept the exhaust and i got the q core. havent been able to take it out and rip on it. kinda worried about bein under the legal limit at oregon.

Jetting is all trial and error man. The site can tell you what to jet at, but its going to be wrong. If you friend is running a 170 with his WB full system, we need to know if its stock type jets, or a jet kit. I would say with kehlin jets(I believe thats how you spell it) a 160 should do you fine with a full system. Not sure with the jet kit, maybe a 165. Do plug tests and that will tell you where you are in your jetting:)

i jetted the pipe without the core, that way if anything im on the rich side
