Best Tires??

My 400ex still has the stock tires and it is an 02 so their pretty bald. All I do is spin when I start to drap race it is the only reason I lose to my friend's Z. (mine is faster on the road ) What are a good set of tires to run. I mainly ride trails and fields. I was thinking about razors or razors 2. Can anyone give suggestions to help me hook up the best, and whip my buddy's Z.

you said your mainly a trial rider ... not an mx rider right?

if so ... look into a set of kenda's ... and if you do mx also ... still .... look into a set of kenda's ... Im going with the kenda mxr my next set

id go with kenda klaws or razrs... i got razrs and i love em.. hook up great throw everyhting.. mud..sand..dirt...

razrs all the way had them on every bike i also had kenda bulldogs which is the old version of the klaw and i like the razrs better
my holeshots were decent but not as good as either

thanks guys, yea I'm mainly a trail rider. I'm leaning toward razrs, but does anyone know about razr 2s and are they worth the extra price. Do the razrs last a while?

Kenda Klaws. You can almost get 2 Kenda tires for the price of one Razr. I have both the Kenda Klaw and the Knarly and love them both. I think the Klaw hooks better but I think the Knarly is one tuff *** tire for trail riding in mud, rocks, sand, etc. The tire is virtually indestructable!;)

i don't know if the klaw's or the razr's .. i ride mostly on sand, so i'd like to know wich one hooks up better on sand?..
plz i need some advice, i got stock tires and i have a '01 400EX!!.. the tires are just flat... :P they suck

razzrs wear excellent imo get the razzrs they hook up great for the conditions uve described

thnks, i've decided to go with the razrs, but still have a question, are the razrs front as good as the rears?.. cause i also want to buy the fronts, but i'm not very sure.

i regret not buying the fronts cause i rode a 250 with the fronts to and it made a diffrence so i would go with the fronts to;)

oh yes i know, in that case, i prefer the XCR, but still im getting the razrs, so, wich front tire should i get 21x7-10 or 22x7-10 .. i obviusly know the 22x7-10 is wider, but i dont know wich one will be better for sand and trail riding, do you think the 21x7-10??
