my rear caliper is leaking fluid when I use it so i figured the seals are gone. has anyone done this at home? I'm not sure how to get started taking the piston out.

If it still works. Just pull it off the rotor take the pads off and pump it till it falls out.If not try to get some pliers around the piston and pull it out.

I'm sure that would work. Never thought of doing that though. You could probly just take the bleeder valve out and stick the end of a blow gun in there.

I removed mine not long ago, Remove the parking brake assembly or the block off plate and push on the pin that sticks out.

This is after removing the caliper of course;) A repair manual comes in handy for this situation;)
