DJ 160 main
40 pilot & DJ needle (the one supplied with the jet kit) adjusted to the 3rd. notch, 3-1/2 turn on a/m screw.
I have read on other forums that the DJ needle will richen the mixture (compared to stock needle). Just wondering if the combo of the DJ needle & the larger pilot will over do it?
The bike has always been a cold starter, with these mods it cranks right up, no choke required, which is nice however, I have read that a richer mixture will lessen the power output?
I do not know the process of reading the plugs...something like reading a plug after idle, then installing another plug to read at 1/4 -1/2 throttle then another for 1/2 - full throttle??
