Thats a pretty good deal man, But it looks like the guy may not have done alot of normal mantience to the quad, so u may want to pull the swing arm bolt out, and greas eveything u can think off, and cheek all of your bearing, and just sorta clean it up one good time and after that it will be really really east to keep clean as long as u keep up on it!!!!! Have fun, and ride safe!!!!!!!

Wow that swingarm is full of grease and dirt! The first thing I would do it take all that apart... Replace bearings, grease everything that needed greasing... And clean that all while its off... Next mod should be some tires...

nice ex, should look good after some pressure washing and degreaser

406ex,....i would suggest going with a 416 bore and a je piston, wiseco's 12.5-1 compression piston is about equal to je's 11-1, and the 440 kits are hard to keep headgaskets on. ive had both pistons and the je was much better, but its your money, so do what you like:D

Congrats:D Sounds like a great deal. Big deal if it is dirty, for Gods sake it is a quad, you ride it in the dirt. Go ride the piss out of it, thats what it is made for.

pretty sweet....use some of that armorall(sp?) wipes, the one in the yellow tube before you ride....and then then mud just comes right off....or just spray some wd-40 on it too.....going to do any suspension mods to bring it to her full potential?:macho

hessianmx111
04-28-2004, 02:50 PM
Yeah the mud comes offf alot easier i used some formula 2001 its like armor all except its a better shine and less oily. i seriously doubt there will be any suspension mods seeing as how i may have to part with it next year to buy a truck:(

still a killa ride man....ahh my parents are like that now...they won't let me get another quad because i need to start putting money towards a car not towards another quad or parts for my quad now:o o well....there most likely right anyway

04-28-2004, 03:44 PM
Who cares if its dirty! As long as it runs good is what counts. $2500.00 sounds like a deal. Good luck with it:D

O and it does look sweet all cleaned up..lol
