I have decided that i am getting very close to driving so i will sell my 250EX, put some money back, and use the rest for a fiddy and to trick it out a lil bit. I really like my 250EX and it will be hard to go from it to a fiddy, but i want something that is a lot easier to take where i want and somethin that i can jump big after a few mods and not be skurred of gettin hurt.
I was wantin to hear of what people think of their fiddys. I have never rode one but i just say a bunch of stockers run in person and i liked just watchin em, so riding would be even better.
So just tell me your stories, i am eager to hear.

I know you can get hurt, lol, i can hurt myself on finger motorcycles. But when compared to 350+ pounds of quad it is still a lot less.
My goal is to set back 1000 bucks for a truck and use the rest for a fiddy, 88c kit, and nice suspension kit. I think it is pretty funny how the 50's motor is more high tech than my 250EX's.
Thanks for reply's and if anyone has pics, that would be good too.

50s aren't cheap...
to be able to jump ANYTHING u pretty much need
88 cc kit 300- 1500$
front forks 1000$
rear end with travel 500 - 1500$
handle bars 300$ some come in the fork kit...
tires 60$

ive seen alot of people goin big with a stock motor, stiff front springs, stiff rear springs or aftermarket shock and a handlebar kit, the stock frame will start to stretch though if you jump very big at all

I don't think this guy is planning on hitting 50 ft. gaps on a 50. Watch 50 nuts, and you will see how almost stock 50's are jumping fine. They may just have springs, bar kit, pegs, and a pipe. A big bore kit would be an extra, but it isn't required to have fun on jumps. I would much rather only spend 500 bucks on goodies for the thing so you can have fun and jump and mess around in the neighborhood than spend thousands of dollars on a full out race 50 that comes up to my knees. You will have plenty fun on even a stock 50. Even if your stock frame breaks, all you have to do is spend 400 bucks on a chromoly frame (which are usually longer than stock and much stronger) and I don't think you will break it. Don't worry about having to spend thousands on a full out race 50, you don't need that if you just want to have fun with jumps and cruisin.

I'm gonna get a 50 too, except, I'm lookin for a poor-mans Z50! I just bought a truck, and don't wanna separate with my 400, so I gotta go cheap! and at first, I think all you'd need is some taller handle bars to be comfortable!
