oil leak - 300ex

well yesterday i was riding and i happen to look down and i saw oil alll over my boots and motor. it looked like it had come from around the valve cover. so i took it off and cleaned it out. Well i was riding and was looking and the oil was coming from a tube. looks like an overfill tube. but why would oil be squirting out like crazy. it wasnt overfilled. any ideas would be helpful.

Was it coming out of the rubber vent tube, or the metal oil line. If it was the metal line your bolts have came lose. I have never heard of oil blowing out of the rubber vent tube. All I have ever seen out of them was a little smoke.

when i had my 300 i over filled it with oil i had oil all over the place and i looked it up and i was told it was an overflow.
