After searching the board and finding two old posts for people looking for a 250r wiring diagram, and no replys to either of them, I figured I'd see if anyone is willing to help today?
I need a scan out of the shop manual of the wiring diagram for a '89 250r, or any other years that are the same. I've looked on hondaoftroy.com, partsfish.com, and bikebandit, and those arn't the diagrams I"m looking for. Need the one that shows the factory splices and which wires go where.
Here is a picture of why I need a diagram, my R doesn't have a square CDI, it has this round thing instead, and it ran with it until I started messing with the wiring trying to clean it up. Anyone seen anything like it? Is it a old aftermarket part or spliced on from a car or somthing? It plugs into 3 of the 4 wires from the stator (blue, black, and green I think), the wires then run up the clear tube through the red coating into the round box. The wires come back out inbetween the clear tube and red coating.
