400ex Durablue into a 450r?

Just curious if anyone has attemped to put a 400ex Durablue into a 450r and what exactly they had to change to do it?

I've heard that the sprocket hub needs to be modified (moved?). Has anyone actually installed one in their 450r?

Got one on mine. The sprocket is off by 1/8" no biggie, I have had zero chain wear.

I seen a kid at the D-22 race on Sunday who had a 400ex swingarm on his 450r.All he did was cut a 1/8"off of the rear where the carrier goes in.

No I ride dunes and desert. I have ridden it very hard and have no problems. My axle was set up for a dual row carrier.

Are people running 400EX a-arms and shocks on the R's too? I thought I read somewhere people were doing that......
