350x conversion worth the money?

hey guys i was wonderin how much more power would my 300ex have if i put a 350x engine in it and how reliable would it be?

i have a 85 350X atc and never have a problem with it just the fact of trying to kick but besides that its never really had a problem


and i draged my friend on his 300ex and blew him away i dunno if its cuz the atc is lighter or what?

With the the 50 extra cc's and an extra gear u should easily outrun a 300ex. With a little work they can be compared to a 400ex.


The 350x is still a honda, how much more reliability do you need!

yah true honda is a honda my 350X does keep up with my other friends 400ex and myX is on stock bore and all stock with blawd 400ex tires on it lol

i think for what it cost, you could spend a little more money on a good motor kit for the 300ex motor and it will be just as fast. i have also heard that the two motors are built a little different and when both are modded, the 300ex motor will be the more reliable

i just did this conversion and i can smoke my friends piped, filtered, and jetted 300ex. i think it is definetly worth the money

for everyone that has done the conversion what are you doing with your 250x/300ex motors? I'd be interested in them.
