how much did you pay for the frame to be powdercoated? is 300 a good deal? he may do the stock a arms too.

I had mine gusseted and a 2 coat powder done for 250 this winter. First time I had it done with a single coat it was 150.

i got my done for 300....but i also got the swing arm...a-arms and that kinda stuff also done..and gusseted.. but when u get it done..dont forget to run a ground from ur battery to your motor... just to be sure..

so if everybody is basically paying 150 then 300 is pretty steep for them to bead blast and powdercoat? also what is this about the ground wire ? why ?

got my frame done for 100 bux....25 for the sandblasting, and 75 for the powdercoat....the guy put 3 layers of p/c on....2 layers of red, and 1 layer of clear coat with the metal fake in the clear...

I think mine was about $14, its great having "connections". That was the frame, swingarm and steering stem, o yeah, and side cases.:blah:

yea i hear ya i got the hook ups too i can get whatever i want done for roughly $45 ( 20 goes to my friend, 25 goes to the company) ,drop it off one day and get it back the next

Racingquads.com ........That's Lee Sawyer . He has done mine and my sons and done a great job on both. He races too so it's nice to deal with him and I would recommend him highly.

I was rebuilding a friend's quad and his dad works a PC assembly line for a job and did them. His usual work is to PC FBM bicylces.
They came out okay too, so that works, and the kid is paying me for labor because I am fixing a bunch of broken or banged up parts.
