as far as albany i dunno but i go to maybrook, take the thruway to exit 17 newburgh, make a right onto 300 then a right onto I-84 west to exit 5 maybrook, make a left, theres a subway right on your left, make a left behind subway, theres a dirt road that crosses the train tracks, park your truck n ride, you can ride forever, i know people that have been going there for years and find new trails all the time, u just gotta make sure u dont get lost!

If you want to travel a little there are some great sand pitts just north of Utica. They are posted, but no one really cares if anyone's there. They are a lot of fun. Go in the open forum, and do a seach for pics of my local sand pitt. If you want directions ask and I'll pm you the directions.
