ok, i put this up a month or two ago, lemme try this again.

i have a '84 Z50. i bought it on 2/7/04 in real rough shape, it was not running when i got it.

since then, just about all of the money i have been saving has been put into it, in an effort to get it running and ridable.

it has a brand new motor. stock bore, with a brand new UNI air filter, along with a modified stock exhaust.the motor has MAYBE 30 mins time on it, total. it isn't even broken in.

the handlebars were loose and trashed overall, so i purchased BBR Adult Handlebars, and put on new Honda bolts, along with new OEM Honda Bar Clamps on it.

the cdi that came with the motor didn't work with the Z50 wiring, so it has a brand new XR50 CDI, along with a brand new XR50 wiring harness.

the gas tank was painted in low-quality black paint when i bought it, so i had the paint stripped, primered, and repainted with a shade of red that matches very closely to Honda Red. this was done not even a week ago. it was also JB Welded where it was previously abraised (when i got it the tank was leaking, unknown to me until after i bought it), and the leak has been fixed.

despite all of the new parts, cosmetically, this bike is not exactly a beauty queen.

the previous owner loved to "trick out" ( ) his different bikes, and he thought it would be cool to paint the frame black......however, he used crap paint on it, and some of the original Honda Red paint shows. i was planning on getting the bike sandblasted and re-painted, but i just didn't get around to it. i know a guy in south jersey that will sandblast and re-paint the frame, if you buy the bike i will refer you to him.

the gas tank has one small dent in the upper left part of it. this dent is normal among Z50s, it is not severe, and if you really wanted to, you could probably pop it out.

the previous owner also painted the swingarm/forks black. again, the POS black paint on it is chipping. i am going to try to clean some of it up with a wire wheel attachment.

the condition of the frame and suspension seems to be perfect (other than the paint problem), nothing is bent, worn, etc etc. the dual rear springs seem to be in fairly good shape, as well.

i am asking 800 OBO for this bike. i have alot of money into it, and would like to regain some of it back, in hopes of buying a 250R. right now, i need a fast quad more than a fast 50.

i will post pics when i return from school this afternoon.

my email is rh027@aol.com , my AIM screen name is rh027, i am online quite a bit, so it isn't difficult at all to reach me.

bump!

i forgot to add this......depending on how much your offer is, i'll throw in a oversized carb, along with a oversized intake manifold.

depending on where you lived, and how much you offer, i will also drive it personally to you.
