hey i blew up my dirtbike a while back and brought it to a shop and turned out the piston was melted to the cylinder and basically everything internally is shot:grr: So i was wondering if anyone maybe knows where to get a cr250 motor for it cheap because all the parts cost quite alot more then i got. And labor would kill me. Or does anyone know about how much it may be worth as is, a 2000 cr250, new sprockets, everything else is great on it. Anyone interested? well thanks. later

**forgot to add i am also looking to trade and i got money to put up towards something. lookin for a 400ex or trick 300ex, may be open to others...

As of today there is a guy offering me 700$ who says he wants to take it and put a cr500 engine in it. I told him i wanted to kind of more find out what it is worth first and see what else i can get for it, but soon because i am going to need somehting to ride soon. I forgot to add, Tire on back has 90% tread, and it comes with a motocross tire with 95% tread, so both practically brand new. And on front is an enduro tire, haha, i was broke then.. but it is also brand new.

Just fix it. You could get 2500-3000 for it if it were running. I can't imagine having 1800-2300$ worth of engine damage from a siezed top end.

It needs to be renicoseled sp?, a whole new top end, all new bottom end, everthing is shot, crank everything man. True not that much but labor is also a factor. thats alot of work. And i cant see putting htat much into it and having it sieze up for some reason.. i have had bad experiences like that before..
