Service Honda has two frames for the 400ex. Anybody know if there is a difference between them??????:confused:

I bet one's made to fit a 250R engine and one a 400EX engine.

No, one is for 400ex frames up to 2002 and the other is for the 03 and 04.

I figured it out . The forward motor mounts are different.

Don't know, but it must change something if honda is selling 2 different frames for the same bike.

no change that is when they changed from fourtrax 400ex to sportrax so they have differnt part numbers so i think.
