I bought some SS lines for my 400ex (+2 lenght) and they seem to be too short even for stock arms. but the top part (single line) have plenty of slack... I think I have to mount the bottom part somewhere else than stock ...
thanks for any help
I have them for +1 and thought they were too long but it wasn't a problem. Just a little more slack (top and each side) than what I expected.
Compare the lengths to the stock lines and see how they compare. And make sure you're routing them correctly.;)

Make sure you are mounting the legs on the right side. One side is shorter than the other because of where the T mounts. Also look on the package and make sure you recieved a +2 Brake Line Kit. It's possible you got the wrong kit. This is the first time we have ever heard of Lines being too short for a 400ex. If you still believe they are too short, than call 310-327-5308 and we will replace them immediately.
Thanks,

I got a different brand and didn't realize that when I installed them. Man was I pissed. I was like how can one side work and not the other. I thought because the mount was a little to one side on the 400 that was why. I was about ready to kill someone at this point.
But took them off an realized they were two different sizes.:eek2:
