I was wondering if anybody has a TMX carb on there R. I called ESR today wanting a new carb for my R and they told me it was the only way to go. But on here and most R's I see everybody is running the air strykers. I ride woods, trails, and will start xc racing soon. You think it would be the best carb for me.

I run the 36mm TMX and love it!!! I started with a 38PJ on a stock cylinder and a ESR TR6 pipe/silencer. Changed to the TMX and was like daaaayuuuuummm! The gain on the lowend was unreal! Honestly, I don't feel that I lost any topend either. Now I am running a LRD 300 resleeve and you would think my R is a four stroke. AS soon as you hit the throttle the power is there and pulls smooth all the way through. I can lug my R down on hill climbs and just crawl if need be with ease! I strongly reccomend the TMX.

I have a 38tmx on my 265 powervalve. Better throttle response than the stock 34pj and waaaay better top end. I can't compare it to anything other than stock though.
