Cam Chain Slack

Is there supposed to be any slack in the cam chain?

Not if the tensioner is working properly. (Assuming on a 400EX)

There shouldn't be any slack on your cam chain. I would remove your cam chain tensioner plug again and make sure that it popped out.

Actually it's for a YFZ450 (dual overhead cam)
