30watts each bulb. If you want a little more light without modifying your stator try a 35watt halogen bulb out of a 350X. That's what I have and its a bit better because of the halogen vs. incandescent.

How can you modify your stator???

The easiest solution is to buy an aftermarket high-output stator. It's possible to re-wind your own stator, but I don't suggest it unless you know what you are doing.

You can send your stock stator to have it rewound. Ricky Stator does it and i'm sure others do it too.

One down fall that i've heard (not first hand experience). At lower RPM's the lights will dim considerably.

I'm not positive but I think the higher wattage bulb will put more strain on the stator and/or battery causing one or the the other to wear out faster.
