do you think that may be too rich to run with a stock pipe. im only at about 800 feet above sea level.

Pappy , I aint too much of a jetting expert , but I can tell you that with my stock pipe and I'm at around the same level ( 800 ft) I'm running a 45 pilot and a 170 main on the 4th clip and it's rich ... almost looks like it's on the verge of fouling .

Pappy,

Most guys with the stock uncorked pipe are running 165 mains with 45-48 pilots. I really don't think you need that much jet. Depending on the air density, I run a 175-180 with a full Duncan system and cam mod with K%N.

Pappy im close to you you and run full lrd system with a 168 main ,45 polit ,6th clip ,2 1/2 turns runs good lid still on stock cam. Id try 165,45,4th clip and go from there.

That's definately too rich. I am running a 45 pilot, needle on the 5th position and a 162 main. Anything richer than that I could feel a loss in power. Any leaner and it ran too hot. I'm right at 1000 feet above sea level.
