wow very nice!!are you near bayville? or toms river? my aunt and uncle live down there, My grand parents used to live in bayville but moved up here in my old house, they lived on the bay it was veryy nice:)

i was being sarcastic...i didn't mean anything by it....i just usually see house being built on a concrete foundation....i guess that is for the water so it doesn't flood the house if im correct?:huh

Sigh, our water front property values have gone very high over the last 5 years. lots of them in the 2-3 million range now.
Heck, my 1 story ranch would prob go for 275,000 now-no joke.

Houses are put on pilings around here also. Its for the flood height laws/ insurance and to keep the foundation from being washed away.

They have something kind of new around here. If you put walls around the raised foundation, The walls must have panels or sections which give way during a storm surge from the ocean.
