I just ordered Gecko's because they sound great. Does anyone out there have them already. I'd like to know how they are working.

I got the 21/11/10's. The only place I saw that had them was Recreation Tire, and it just so happened that that was the only size they had left. That's the size I wanted though. I can't wait to get them. Pismo for Easter's gonna be great.:D

Where is everyone ordering the Gecko's from? How much do they run per tire in a 20X10X10?

I got mine from parts unlimited. around $50 each. i seen a set at the dunes on a guys warrior and he said he gave $160 for the pair. I gave $200 for mine with douglas black labels. what are you all paying for yours?

I got mine from Recreation Tire. They were 43 a piece before shipping and handling. I put them on douglas blue labels. You don't really need black labels for the sand in my opinion. They package price was like 150 or so before shipping. I got mine in three days.

blueoval you say in your sig that you have a desert grab bar.. HOW did you put a grab bar on your 400EX? did you cut your frame to remove the old one and weld a new one in place? if so doesnt that that weaken your frame?..

Ryan, there is a way to put on a different grab bar.

Check out www.prm-atv.com they offer a few different models. All you do is cut the subframe, right in front of the taillight holders, then weld on two brackets that the new grab bar bolt right up to. The frame is not weakened in any way, since the subframe is completely removable anyways. The stock subframes are pretty weak to begin with, so there is not much to worry about.

Correct me if I am wrong but I think the geckos are only avail. in 21''x11'' on an 8'' 9'' or 10'' rim.

Gecko's are only available in 21x11x9,10, or11

Well, my Gecko's are really sweet. I liked how they did on the straight and narrow, but they also handled extremely well in the turns. They don't throw a huge roost like the sand skate 2's, but they handle and hook up really nicely. A definate buy in my opinion.

Ok I have decided to order some Gecko's now. Just curious what the 21X11X10 means. Correct me if I'm wrong but the 21" is the overall hieght, 11" is the width and 10" would be the wheel diameter. Is this assumtion correct?
I will be installing the Gecko's on Black label 10" Douglas wheels.
THANKS!

Yup, I just ordered mine from Chaparral, total with shipping came to $97.00. They are currently out of the 21X11X10 but should be shipped out end of the week. I believe Chaparral has the best price on these tires.

I don't think I'll get the blue labels again, even for sand cause I bent one already. Black labels are a definate from now on.

Yep, blue labels get bent on big jumps, much less hitting a root on a climb or somethin...

Has anyone else used the Gecko's yet? If so, how'd you like them?

I've got the 21x11x10's on blue label wheels. So far I haven't bent the wheels, but if I do, I'll definitely go with the black labels, or red labels depending on how much I feel like spending at the time.

What air pressure are you running in your Gecko's?? I'm running 5 psi in mine right now, and I'm thinking about dropping that down to 3 psi to see what happens. I do like how the tires handle, and I was able to climb every hill I made an attempt at.
