Can anyone tell me what I need to make my hotstart work with this CRF perch and lever assembly. Do I need the CRF hotstart cable or is it a fitting?? Thanks

I've read posts on the forum that said some of you made a spacer or something for the stock cable so that you can use it with the Works perch or similar perch. Does anyone have a picture or even a scetch of what the spacer they made looked like, or how they did it? I don't have the money right now to spend on a cable from Baldwin, trying to save up for a new truck.
