Anyone tried putting 250R style plastic on 450R

I was just wondering if anyone has attempted putting 250R style plastic on their 450R yet?

I have Maier Race Plastic on my 250R and I'm really tempted to tear away the plastic on my 450 to see if it will fit. Just wondering if someone has already gave it a shot. I just think Maier or FullBore 250R plastic would look sick on the 450R, it'd look like a CRF race quad.

Let me know if anyone has tried.....

Maier is coming out with 450r plastic real soon. Wait and see what they have.

havent tried but you will run into issues with the gas tank and the seat im sure, i had looked into doing the same to a 400ex and that was the kicker you need an R seat and tank as well then its no prob, im sure it COULD be done

ya you would need a new tank, different mounts, and the rear plastic would have to be set up different...
if i had a set of 250r plastic i would do it right away, making up new mounts and what not... and i would use a 250r gas tank, i think it would look trick...

o well the stock look doesn't bother me, i think it looks awsome...

Yeah, I already guessed the main problems would be with the gas tank and rear seat/plastics. Have to use a 250R gas tank and fabricate some new mounting brackets. I want to do it soo bad but it'd be a lot of time and effort. And I DONT wanna buy a new set of 250R plastic, heh. Hopefully FullBore or Maier will make a 250R style plastic for the 450 but I doubt it will happen.
