You should be able to find a local machine shop that will bore cylinders. Also you cant bore a stock 300ex cylinder out to a 330 you have to buy a big bore kit in order to get that many cc's. The highest you can take a stock cylinder is about .080 over. My friends is 080 over and I think it makes it a 305, maybe a 310. I however wouldn't recommend doing this unless you have to, to get the groves out of the sleeve. Taking a stock cylinder that far makes the motor run very hot and lowers the reliability. If you are wanting big cc's just get a big bore kit, and a oil cooler.

Ya there are alternatives to boring so big to or spending that much money on a big bore kit. I just took mine .040 over put a domed high compression wiseco piston in it, larger valves in. & ex., ported to the max on in. and ex. sides, titanium r&d valve springs, Black Diamond valves, and a complete supertrapp system with oversized header. It screams. Its probably like a 295cc or so with the .040 bore though.

A STOCK JUG CAN GO UP TO 100 OVER, BUT THEN YOU DO HAVE SERIOUS HEAT PROBLEMS. I JUST HAD MINE PUNCHED .60 AND IT GETS A LITTLE WARM ON SLOW TRAIL RIDING. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND AN OIL COOLER IF YOU GO ANY FURTHER THEN THAT. THERE IS ALSO A GUY ON EBAY THAT IS CONSTANTLY SELLING .40& .60 OVER WISECO'S FOR LIKE $70.00 THAT IS WHERE I GOT MINE, CHEAP SHIPPING AND FAST TOO. I DIDN'T LOOK TO SEE WHERE YOU ARE AT BUT IN ASHLAND,KY THERE IS A MACHINE SHOP CALLED PRECISION CYLNDER THAT BORED AND CLEARENCED MY JUG AND PISTON FOR $35.00 REALLY GOOD AND CLEAN WORK TURNED IT OUT IN JUST 2 DAYS. IF YOUR INTERESTED IN EITHER LET ME KNOW AND I WILL GET YOU THE NAMES AND NUMBERS.
