How come 450R's are costing some much more on the western side of the USA than in the midwest or eastern side? Are they in that much demand there? I had to wait several weeks for my 450, but still got a good deal.

I paid a little more than than at Abernathy's but I think they have dropped the price by $50. It was worth the drive. I have had no problems with the purchase. Straight up price with what was on their website. Can't ask for more and I'm ridin'

Friend of mine compared all the dealerships in Utah and finally got one to go $6,975 OTD. That's the best i've seen so far. Honda of Salt Lake won't budge off of $7,100 OTD. They don't give anything away if it's a novelty.

I was quoted for $5800 O.T.Dplus a $50 Gas card for the 450R

And $6097 O.T.D for the Yfz 450

Plaza said they will sell me one for $6900 OTD including registration and tax. But that's just cause we bought one there a month ago for my husband. I don't like Plaza but they were the only one with a 450 back when we bought the first one.

That's a good price. We just all need to keep the dealerships competing to get the price down! The prices on the East coast make me want to order from them and have them ship it to me.

I paid full flaming retail (6499)...but not a penny more and got them to pay half the cost of a shop manual. It took a lot of twisting to get that, here in Oregon. Western states are "paying through the payer"...they must know we can and will pay! S.O.B.'s!!! I'm happy, it's got way more over my 400. I was ready to drive 2000 miles to get the deals I found in the midwest/south but did not have the time or desire to pay for gas in the motorhome. If you want to play....you know the rest. :(
