I titend my OIL bolt to 16flb as instructed in the book, and after 2 oil changes it stipped all the threads out of the case:( The honda dealler said they would have to put a steel helli coil in. Is a heli coil any good ? will it come out?:eek2:

a helli coil will work fine, just be a little carefull when you go and tighten your drain plug for now on.:cool:

make sure you dump oil through the motor with drain plug out to get rid of metal fileings

And are you really telling us you used a tourqe wrench on your oil plug? :blah:

Did you read the owners manual? I got a good laugh when I read torque the drain bolt 16lbft
