You would be better off just buying the whole kit. Just went on to www.servicehonda.com to look up the HRC cam and they want $214.54 for JUST the cam and $252.70 for the whole kit. Part number for the cam is 14110-NLZ-650, and the power up kit number is 06100-NLZ-651. The numbers are straight out of my set-up manual and parts list book that came with my HRC kit. For that price I would get the kit, because the kit is awsome with a pipe.

i've seen the hrc kit on ebay for $100 no joke. i heard the crf 450 bike cam is the same and you can get just that you'll need to rejet though but the jetting in the hrc kit is a thinner needle and a 185 main and thats it. i know the stock main jet is 118 and your going up to a 185 but the numbers are right. the shim under bucket vavles require shims to adjust the valves just to let ya know.

The CRF450 Dirtbike cam is not the same - it has less low lift duration because of the cylinder head's port setup.

I saw that HRC kit for $100 buy it now. The kit was missing the jet kit and the cam. The auction must of ended with a buy it now because I was watching it. I bet some putz saw HRC and thought what a deal and clicked buy it now without reading it. I feel for the sap!

HRC cam in the $100 range, I thought you wanted to buy one, not have one given to you!

$200 is cheap if you can even find one. My understanding is that Honda will NOT be selling these once what they have on hand now are sold!

Good luck!

exactly, I would just keep the cam for $100. I don't need $100 that bad,...

How much do you want for your HRC cam?

If I were to sell my HRC cam, the price would have to be fair for me. I have 3 cams for the 450R: a stock, a HRC high end, and a CS mid; so, right now I have best of all three for any type of riding I wish. What's a fair price, make an offer and I'll judge.

Here is an HRC cam on Ebay. Right now it's at $22. If no one would bid on it until the last second, you can get it real cheap. The pissing contests with who has to be the higher bidder is what drives the price up. There's 6 days left on it, who can wait that long??? :D

all i was saying in my post was that i wanted one for under two hundred.. not 100..

just in the (100's)

i mean if ur going to charge me 200 dollars i might as well just orderone from service honda. right?

a guy on here offer me 150 for the cam its in his bike right now so its going to be used when and if i get it.. but i will give you 180 to my door.. its up to you

Thanks for this info. I just called my dealer and they are quoting $340 for the kit plus installation. I told them I could get it for $252 online and they wouldn't budge off their price. Told me to buy it online so I said thanks and I would. Gonna save $90 bucks buying through service honda.
