I want to know if someone has some suggestions on straightning out after hitting a jump that has warn and the bike wants to lean to one side mid-air.

I twisted my ankle up (should have been wearing my racing boots).

Thanks in advance!

Just wanted to post a pic of me testing one of our new jumps.

If the quad is just tilting in the air, try to lean to the opposite side and pull up on the handlebars. If the rear end is swinging around on you, just point your front wheels toward the landing and try to take your leg that the quad is whipping around toward, and pull it back around under you. If you can' t get it around very easily, just pin the gas when you land, and you should be able to pull out of it. Just hang on really tight, and be prepared for a jolt.

Thanks for the reply. I have both happen from time to time. I had never tried to correct the ATV. I am fairly new and can land some good jumps if they are fresh. When the problem comes is when I try to dodge ruts.

I will try to correct next time. I am a little nervous of over-correcting since I way over half what the bike does. I will give it a shot.

Thanks for the info.

1. turn your tires into the fall and pull that side up.
2. get on the gas
3. if the jump always turns you you can just do a turn down on purpose and bring it back and in most cases is 10x easier than just reacting to it as it comes.
4. correct as early as can

Other than that theres only a few other tips I can give... Take differant lines, look far ahead as not to over correct, practice and lot and just try to figure out the differant things you can do and what happens as you hit the jumps differantly and why.

just ride more and get used to it, the more you ride your quad and know how it behaves you can predict it earlier and correct it easier. when ya jump try not to lean so far back off the seat. try to stay more neutral, you should be able to look down your steering stem when jumping comfortably.

Great tips. I will try it. I will start hitting some of the off-angle portions of the jumps more just to try it. I will start slow and speed up as needed.
