00 CR250 Needs Motor work, will TRADE

I got a 2000 cr250 that i brought to a shop about a month ago and he got to taking it apart and to cut to the end he tore it apart, the piston was melted to the cylinder and he decided to leave it at that for a cupple days as he was busy.. Got back to it and he called and said the bottom end was bad also. Chunks of the rings and piston must of went down and tore **** up. So im either going to sell it to a shop around here or see what i will get offered here???? It ran good for 3 years straight. Stock. New sprockets and chain. Dent in pipe, doesnt affect anything. New back tire and another new one that comes with it with 95% tread and the front tire is an enduro type. It is a good looking bike, no graphics on it now but there is a fac. effects seat cover. May be able to get a pic.... I will trade for a 400ex or worked 300ex or something nicely tricked or open to alot i guess. I will pay the difference of what you think is fair for trade..

Located at Menominee, Michigan.. I would also like to add i have a friend that makes alot of trips down by chicago and wierd places and he said it would never be a problem to throw the bike on back if i found someone down far..
