right where the header meets the head, i got oil coming out, after like 3 rides i started to nice it getting worse and worse. I went to change my oil and i had less then a quart in there:eek2: i do believe if i woulda gone riding that day without changing/adding oil ida blown my tranny. ive looked over a few diagrams to see if theres some kind of gasket there or something but i havent found anything yet.

also this all started after i tipped it over doing donuts.. thats when it really picked up

Are you sure its oil?? If anything Ide think it would be gas. Look to see if you cam chain tenshion bolt is in first off, Then look to see if your head gasket is leaking any, Tighten up your headers bolts to I think its like 20 foot pounds get them on there pretty damn tight!

gas isnt black, and its not the head gasket because i looked at the header bolts and tightend them, the oil is coming from there. and what would my cam tensinor have to do with this?>

i got brake fluid on my header & it burned up & turned black  check that maybe

ill check the oil cooler but i dont think it is at all, its coming from the head

and its not anything else, its not gas, its not antifreeze, brake fluid, milk, or greese, ITS OIL!

well since its a 416 it could be the rings from improper installation

The only way I know of for oil to get into the exhaust (besides bad rings, which I don't think is the case here) is through the valve guides and around the valves, in which case it would likely burn.
Is the spark plug oil-fouled?

Only other idea I have is maybe the exhaust stud is threaded in too far and has cracked the head. Try removing it and see if oil oozes out the hole. If so, clean everything up real good and coat the stud with hi temp silicone before you reinstall it.

does blue smoke come out of your exhaust, if not its probably the valve cover gasket

i diont have the 416 piston in yet, havent gotten the time or place really yet to install it. yes sometimes blue smoke does go out, but only when first starting it and its not that common. i think it is the valve cover gasket, but how would that blow? theres no pressure up there right?

well oil is pumped up into the head to the valve train, there is really no pressure but maybe somehow. blue smoke coming out when you start is is the valve seals going up. I wouldnt worry about it though until it starts getting bad.
